About Me

Hi! My name is Brent Lafreniere.

Im Brent Lafreniere a freelance web and graphics designer from the Calgary, Alberta. I finished Web Design diploma from the Assiniboine Community College in Brandon Manitoa. I have been in the web industry since 2006.

I am highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, MS Office Suite, HTML, CSS, Javascript.

I am educated in the following programming languages: Actionscript, ASP, PHP, SQL, MYSQL, Lingo, XML, XHTML & CSS.

I am passionate about every project I take and it is my aim to create websites that both look stunning and function well. Also, I enjoy working with people to exceed their expectations and build websites that stand out from the crowd.

I have worked with and am knowledgeable with the following software: Flash, Director, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Maya and HeidiSQL.

I have experience with Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per-Click and online marketing.

I'll be honest here, I love computers and the internet. I spend a good portion of my day in front of the screen, designing, researching and sometimes just experimenting.

- Member of 1st Place Team Iron Web, February 2007.

- Finished 3rd at Skills Manitoba, and won the bronze medal in the Web Site Development Competition, April 2007.

- Was a top 10 finisher, in the AddictingGames.com's "Worlds Most Addicting Game Contest” 2007.
